Yeah one of my gauges will do what you pictured the other will not. The other has no “mode” in the menu only simple mode on or off. Yeah I corrected myself. Back on Steve’s video he mentioned the annoying max 15 sec screen time. Didn’t realize that was updated or he was wrong to begin with who knows. If I were personally buying I would still go with the cheaper gauge because I just want to know pressure not all of the other stuff and people should just know that.If you have any of the Pro Sekhmet gauges, it's pretty easy to find the different settings & features if you take a few minutes to play around with them. To complain that the time out duration was too short and was one of the primary flaws of the gauge is, as you now realize, a mistake on your part b/c that's one of the basic settings that you can adjust...along with having it turn on with each shot or during a fill as Nicole said.
There are plenty of ways to customize the setup of these gauges, which is why we're paying more for them then the Amazon gauges. The 28mm gauges only came in one flavor (aka the "Pro" model you're referring to) but you can set it in different modes that determine which settings/features show up on the gauge during normal use. If you set it in the simpler "Regulator" mode, it won't show all of the different features when you try to scroll through them. To have access to the full menu of settings, you have to take it out of Reg mode and put it into the more advanced "Pro" mode (see pics below).
Hope that helps...
