I am looking for some suggestions on the best way to sell off my airgun collection. I have 32 air rifles and pistols. Some are NIB and all have been shot very little. Almost all of the airguns have a full automatic feature. I am 89 years old now and will be downsizing soon. Any comments will be appreciated

- Create a WTS ad in the Classified section. Title - 32 piece airgun collection for sale. Subject - The following airguns are available. List all the airguns for sale. List the asking price, list payment options, and specify for local pickup or delivery.

I personally would sell them in lots of 5 or individually. Not too many people would or could buy 32 guns with several new and almost new guns.

I agree, I’m not sure anyone would have the need or cash on hand to purchase the entire collection. You could list all 32 as a lot and give pricing for each item or discounts if people bought more than one. Not sure how this goes over with the forum rules but I am sure there is a way to make it work.

Depending on where you are located and what kind of airguns you have you could see if there are any local shooting clubs. The field target club I belong to had someone approach us years ago in your situation. I think he was cleaned out in few days.

Locally there is an auctioneer that has a gun auction at least twice a year. An auction house could sell them all for you without the hassle of strangers in your house, bounced checks, or shipping your guns. Down side, you probably wouldn't clear as much money.

You could use the member classified here, airguns.net free ad's, ebay for a fee, a local store on consignment.

Make model and calibre, and year of purchase or manufacture if you can
Im curious to see what you have. You can list them here without a price, that way no one will think you are trying to sell them. Then list them individually on the sell forum so we know that they are for sale.
PS I don't think sales show on the chronological (its misspelled here, I don't know if its on purpose, but I think it is) so show the list so I can look. for them in the sale section

Another thought, which at the end of the day would net you less money, but make your life much easier. Contact AoA and see if they will sell off your used collection on consignment. I've seen them sell off other collections.

I would sell them individually as from my research people must pay new prices for used? Most ads I see are ridiculous. For example WTH would pay 550 for a scratched up AEA challenger in 22 cal? Lol

Maybe a member near by in Ohio can help with the selling/transaction? OP is 89 years old so might not feel like dealing with it and/or might not know the value of his collection.
