How strict is your definition of reliable? No failures or leaks or jams ever as long as you own it?

I had an Evan’s airspeed when the first models shipped. Once set up with the trigger position and the right spring tension it never missed a beat. I only sold it to get a Leshiy 2.

Wait for a used Huben gk1 to pop up in the classifieds. They sell for around $800-$1000 used. As a matter of fact, if you love near Savannah, Georgia there’s a member selling one for $800 (pick up only though).

Used (if you can find one) AEA Terminator, teeth rattleing beasts. My .30 just keeps throwing pellets down range at over 1000FPS. Only Gen 2.

Just pulling your leg bud. Seems you got lucky with your AEA. I had a .357 terminator and hated it. It jarred your teeth alright. It also jarred my safety back into safe after every shot, I had to disengage it before each shot. Only after drilling out the divot that held the bearing did it stay put. Very harsh shooting cycle.

I've probably put 2000 rounds through my Barrage and I get maybe 1 failure to index the next round every 50 or so rounds.
My Bullmaster shoots the same after 500 or so rounds. But the power is down and I think I need a new poppet valve. Found a used leaking Bullmaster so I bought it. Hatsan has no poppet valves.
The Sortie Tact I don't think has ever failed to index.

Either you have the luck of the Irish or you modify these problematic semi autos. I know @longgundallas was able to get his sortie to function properly after extensive mods. Good for you man, I wish you many more thousands of rounds with no issues.

Totally stock Bullmaster, really, just ignore the drop block and 1.1l bottle...
Wasnt that modified Sortie primarily to get to work with a moderator?

IIRC it was not functioning properly from the get. The moderator was another one of his experiments that needed other modifications. You’re the first person I’ve heard from that has a bone stock sortie function as it should.

My nephew has one, loves it out in the orchards by the farm. Squirrels on the other hand, not so enthusiastic.
