Seneca .358 “roundball”

Ordered these before I found another source. They are all like this. They each come with a built in stand!

Why not just cast your own?

being comfortable casting lead is not a common skillset with anybody i know. fly out to boise and teach me? i was just hoping to warn others not to purchase these

Unless you can find "swaged" round balls, you are going to have the "stand" which is where the sprue was cut off. I did some searching and all I could find were .350 and .375 swaged round balls.

The sprue is not a problem in muzzle loaders as one merely faces the sprue up when loading.
