I just went back thru the log book and found this info,
On the 1-5-10 tests, I had 16 test results/average,
on the 15 pumps tests I only had 6 tests result/average that went to 15 pumps,

1 pump tests average for 16 tests =273fps
5 pump tests average for 16 tests =638fps
10 pump tests average for 16 tests =720fps
15 pump tests average for 6 tests =828fps

I am carefully tuning to see what's under the hood!
Unless something else shows up, I am happy with the 10 pumps results so far.

you have .177 and if so , what grain pellet ? ty

I am very picky when it comes to slinging those 40grthey are expensive but I got them for a purpose: hunting. Had them for over 6 months...looking for a slinger that can throw em decent.

any idea the FPS the 40 grain pellets are travelling ? Do they properly load into the magazine ? Im getting 15-16 FPE using 11.9 Gr pellets...so im guessing you are getting 20+ FPE using 40 gr slugs ?

Has anyone did modifications on the air valve or tried a flatop piston/ valve mod to get even more power out of this rifle { like the crosman 1377/1322 pumper mods }

11.9 Gr pellet...I get 760 fps at 12 pumps and 780 fps at 15 pumps....for me, ill stick with 12 pumps, cause 15 pumps isnt worth the 20 fps increase.

I didn't have a 177 caliber at that time, only the 22 cal.
But, I just obtained a brand new 177 cal, 1st model, and that is a horse of a different color.
I can see why they went to the Butterfly action.........Lol

Ok! Enough of the giant scope(it made this thing too heavy).
Put on my ruger scope and found a set of my see thru mounts. They didn't work on another build so I tried them here. I can see my irons under there!
Well....Got enough of a window to make them usable!
Scope weighs probably half of the one I had on it.
(The scope that comes with the ruger impact max elite. 22)
Better suited in the lightweight department than before for sure. I can toss it up and down in one hand
