Seneca hunting pellets

Hi there,

I see Seneca Hunting Pellets are being sold in Canada now. They look really nice -- on the long and heavy side of pellets.

Does anyone know what their lengths are? I'd rather not buy them if they're too long for my magazines.

I'm primarily interested in the 32.4gr .22 cal pellets, but also the 28.5gr pellets, also in .22.

I don't have them in 22 but I have them in 177 (16.1gr). They are 0.305" long. Assuming they are proportional a 0.22 should be 0.379" long. Scaling the mass by a cube of the ratios I get a 0.22 weight right around 30.0 to 30.5gr, in the mid range of the two you mentioned. I reckon they shouldn't be longer than 0.4" or so. Regards

Made in Korea per my tin of 177 16.1gr.

Seneca is a Re-branded name by Air Venturi,.....those are Eun Jin pellets made in Korea

in .22 the 28gr and the 32gr are excellent
in .25 the 43gr is excellent but the .35gr is horrible
the .35 is horrible as well

I found the same. The 43.2 grain is pretty good out of my avenger and it produces the most FPE out of my barrel at around 80 FPE. The 35.8 grain just doesn't shoot as well.

Tried the 35 gr Eunjin pellets for years in a bunch of different guns and they never shot well,...just liked the shape so much that I kept trying

They don't shoot very well from my R9 (600 fps/12.7 fpe).

I concur the 43s do well in most 25s I've tried. Just need some oopmh to push them in most of the lower power guns. They're doing close to 80 fpe out of the sumatra carbine.

Bought some 50 tins of respectivly 16(roundnose) and 17 grains(pointed) of these Eun Jin pellets. The Daystate Revere loves them all the way.

The 32gr .22's are a tad too long for Leshiy 2 magazines, unfortunately.

I used extremely large-mouthed pliers.

I eventually just pry them open with my hands but I have spilled them everywhere before haha.
