Seneca RECLUSE 9mm/.357 RECOILESS Hunting PCP Air Rifle (Full Review)

I've come to terms that these "full review" videos are nothing more than "initial impressions" videos, but this one is especially egregious. I own five Careers/Sumatras so I know what I'm talking about. Maybe I should start a "super premium" airgun review line and run it under the Kirkland name.
Where can you buy Donny's now? They haven't been available for at least 1.5 months. Everything has been pulled off Utah airguns site or direct, so that tells you something. Three letters: Alphabet org
Where do you buy an LDC that is .35 or larger? Neil Clague for one. However, you'll need to purchase a thread pitch gauge or bring the gun into a machine shop to know exactly what the thread pitch is at the end of the barrel before you order. These guns have different thread pitches, so you'll need to make sure. You'll also need to measure the distance between the top tube and top of the threads with a caliper for proper clearance.
These guns are firearm loud without an LDC. If you can shoot one without the LDC at your house, I'd shoot a firearm instead.
Even my Career .177 @ 45FPE is firearm loud that has a thunderous crack without and LDC.
The triggers are awful. They need to tuned to make them acceptable. This will become apparent if you attempt long shots past 60 yards. They are comparable to an AEA challenger bullpup trigger. That's the reason you kept the distance below 50 yards.
You will need a drooper mount for a scope. I've had to install one on every gun. You will run out of elevation if you do not.
A 130FPE recoiless airgun? Are you kidding me? Any airgun over 60FPE will recoil regardless of manufacturer.
Due to wide variances in bore diameters, you will need to slug the bore. It makes sense to shoot pellets if you want a quick and dirty review.
The Seneca/Grizzy slugs are garbage. I can see why you didn't want to shoot them, as I'm sure they will group in a nice random, shotgun pattern. The AV slugs have the best chance. This will be the case if you slugged the barrel beforehand.
The gun is not regulated, so it is completely understandable when you were trying to group it. You are not shooting a delta wolf, so calling the next shot is a crap shoot at best.
The trigger/barrel/non regulated combination will produce the best groups presented in the video. This is the best you'll get unless you tune it.
These guns are front heavy, so when you are shooting them for the first time you'll need to get use to the balance. Solution is to keep shooting until you get used to it.
Sure, you will get M3 power. However, all the items above will present themselves sooner or later, realizing you get what you pay for.

I occasionally try to watch one one of those videos just to see if they've evolved, but between the "recoilless" and 'accuracy-testing' parts, couldn't get through the first few minutes of this one.
I owned a 9mm Shin Sung Fire 201 (Career) rifle in Y2K, so thought I'd share my experiences with it.
I used only 58 grain Dae Sung pellets in it, and found it quite endearing. Did some basic trigger-smithing to get a crisp, 3# trigger break.
Per the attachment, I found the bell-curve power-band at 3300 PSI charge pressure that returned 11 hunting-worthy shots. Charging to 3150 (for tighter extreme spreads), I was able to get consistent 1.25" c-t-c average five-shot groups at 50 yards; some groups going into less than an inch.
As SS states, it was front-heavy; in my opinion, like a traditional muzzle-loader. But I've found such balance conducive to excellent steadiness for offhand hunting shots (also per the attachment).
Since I take brain shots almost exclusively with airguns, and always when hunting medium to large game, when I realized I could accomplish just as clean, instant kills with my .22 Career with less wind drift, ammo expense, and twice the accuracy, I sold the 9 mm.
Like many fond nostalgic memories, I sometimes miss Nine. But only till I pick up my .25 Sumatra!
