Separation anxiety 😁

Anybody else here get "separation anxiety" when it comes time to sell a gun or guns?? I have pulled out my gun again today for the 5th time so far and took pics of it to sell it on here but then start looking at it.... Holding it.. aiming it.... Then back in the case and back in the closet until the next time I decide to "sell it"... šŸ¤”šŸ¤” I can't seem to post it.. I don't shoot it at all . The only time I see it is when I'm "selling it".. so what seems to be the problem.... IDK

Yep, let's see, I've sold a fx impact. Didn't much care for it. No regrets. Sold a mk1 fx crown Gen 2. Really just bought it to get a walnut stock. Put a new synthetic stock on it and sold it. Would be cool to have two. But kind of pointless imo. The other 9 airguns I have, I cannot part with, cant see or imagine it. šŸ˜…

I only regretted one. My prod but it wasn’t like a $2000 gun I couldn’t buy again so i just bought another one. The replacement hasn’t been as good as the first but that’s ok. The gentleman that bought it is having a blast with it and that makes me happy. Selling on the forums at lest you get to see your old gun doing different things :)

So many guns I regretted selling my list is huge, but unfortunately not being a wealthy individual I can only have so much tied up in my stable,......now I have only 2 guns.
Honestly, less is more brother. If I could just have one I’d keep my Edgun Leshiy Classic and that’s it. She does everything I need and fits in a small 5.11 backpack

i never regretted 'not' selling a gun ..im terrible at selling anyway. i usually try to give incredible deals and enjoy giving more than selling .. almost everytime they start hitting me with the attitude theres something wrong with it or im scamming them, i get pissed, and wind up keeping it haha ..

I have sold a couple of dozen or more airguns - lost count - many were very accurate - but have been lucky that I alwats seemed to leverage the proceeds for a other one even better.

However, I am now to a point where every rifle in my collection is stunningly accurate. I haven't been able to bring myself to buy anything else because I can do anything possibly need to do or want to do with an air rifle, Springer or pcp. I also don't have a single air rifle at this point I wish to part with.

This is a weird juncture for me.

I enjoyed all of your posts.

Once a year I decide to sell my Taipan. I get it out and shoot a mag to make sure it’s still Taipanning before I sell it. Halfway through a mag I think nope, you can’t sell something like this. I think when we don’t need to part with something and we have room to warehouse it, it can be harder to part with it. We just can’t let it get out of hand.

My method of selling something is simple. If I decide to sell something, I then take the gun out on a ā€œproving missionā€ where the gun has to earn its keep by proving it can satisfy my needs of the day whatever it may be. I give it tasks like ā€œif you make this shot I’ll keep youā€ or ā€œyou better carry well in the field or elseā€. Most of my high end stuff always pass. The ones that fail are usually crappy guns. Recently I had an itch to sell my Condor. Took her out and she earned her keep. 67 fpe to a ground squirrel head is no joke plus she proved she don’t shift poi, she’s simple , quiet and pretty short vs a regular sized gun like a Anenge X
