Separation anxiety 😁

Sold a kayak I only took out three times to buy a Revere.
I'd had it since 1996 and had done a lot of performance work on it. It was a very fast bike but I'm 71 now and not to far from 72 and just ride my old 83 XR500r that I dual sported back in 91. I had a lot of off road miles on that KTM250.

I'll tell ya about REAL separation anxiety. Mine is so bad that I have a hard time leaving home even for a couple of days to visit my daughter and grandkids up north. My wife has booked us to fly back east for two bloody weeks in May, and I am not happy about being away from my airguns for that long. My guts are in a turmoil thinking about it. I'm gonna be bored stiff the whole stinkin' time.

I visit my “ other wives” at least twice a day.

Being a different kind of cat, I think of my purchases as a "rent" on my airguns so selling them is no big deal and even giving them away from time to time is OK with me too.

I do have a few guns that I really like, they compliment me as a shooter and give me what I need to connect with a pest or bullseye. Cheap or expensive, I keep those.

I do need to cull the herd some though, I've got half a dozen guns sitting that I no longer love and they need to mosey on to a new home.

Gifting is very rewarding I do that quite a bit
Had some former co-workers over today for dinner and drinks. We had a little airgun competition. My friend who now lives in North Carolina mentioned he was struggling to put the lights out on some ground hogs with his 177. I showed him my semi-retired Gamo Viper 22 that was sighted in with a BSA 3-9x40mmAO scope at 25Yds and he tried a few shots with Red Fires. The deal was done and it was GONE just like that. I was sitting here now going through the forum and had a pang of separation anxiety!

Don’t feel bad it went to someone you know and it’s going to take care of pests.
