The September Field Target match at Arlington Sportsmen's Club was a beautiful Texas fall day (meaning it only got up to 85 degrees when shooting was finished). We moved the match from our usual Saturday to Sunday due to a club work day. We had 15 shooters, but Jerry C and his guest had to run right after the shoot and forgot to turn in score cards. They were shooting Unlimited, so their scores would not have affected the official placements of the other shooters.
Scotty H won Hunter PCP, Ronito won Hunter Piston (barely), Open PCP and WFTF PCP were uncontested wins for Craig and Eric. Although I'm pretty sure Eric would have beat Jeff Cloud had he bothered to attend, which may explain Jeff's absence.
We had no cold lines or target failures, and almost everyone stayed to help take down the course which is much appreciated.
Next match will be October 26th. We will be moving the start time to 10am to keep from shooting into the rising sun.
