Our next TEXtreme Airgun Sports competition weekend will be Extreme Rifle and Extreme Pistol field target matches the first weekend of September. Both matches will award Airguns Of Arizona gift certificates to top-placing shooters. Number of places awarding prizes in each match will be First Place if at least 5 shooters contest a match, First and Second places if at least 9 shooters contest the match, and three places if at least 12 shooters enter a match.
Match Winners in both matches will capture $250 AoA gift certificates, Match Winner hat-pins, and small and large TEXtreme Airgun Sports pellet tins. Second Places will win a $150 AoA gift certificate and a large TEXtreme Airgun Sports pellet tin, and third place(s) win a $100 AoA Gift certificate and a small TAS pellet tin.
The sixty-shot Extreme FT rifle match will be Saturday, September 2, and the sixty-shot Extreme FT pistol match will be Sunday, the third. Shooters Meetings for both matches will be at 10:00 AM. Each match will start 10-15 minutes after completion of the shooters meeting.
The practice range will be open from 6 PM till sunset on Friday and Saturday, and also on Saturday and Sunday from 8 till 10 AM (shooters meetings).
Overall course difficulty factors for both matches will be in the mid-thirties; both before wind multipliers. There will be a six-shot forced-position Standing lane in each match.
Entry fees are $25 for a single match, or $40 for both matches.
We’ll have complimentary snacks and cold beverages both days, but no meals will be served. As usual, all attendee’s are invited to join post-match group meals at local eateries. The group meal is not complimentary.
