Using my sf compact as an example these are some of the things I do to make things more comfortable and make things work better. After cleaning the barrel with ballistol and applying a small amount of silicone grease on the barrel bolt, and slide. 1) I then start with the magazine fitment. I wipe the back ( black) face with alcohol or lacquer thinner to prep the surfaces for a piece of gorilla tape. I trim off the excess with an exacto blade.
2) If the clear cover is too loose I adjust the spring loaded ball with a 2.5mm hex driver bit. ( bent Allen keys don't fit as tightly as driver bits and can strip the heads of the screws). *Important * on a plastic mag if you try to adjust the screw holding the clear cover on chances are you will break the magazine. Aluminum mags are different and you can adjust the cover screw as well
3) Test fit the magazine, if it's too loose still you can add a second layer.
4) folding buttstock if applicable. Instead of removing the pin and grinding material off to tighten the fit. One piece of clear gorilla tape will make it rattle free. Clean with solvent first.
5) 1/8 × 2 " neoprene foam tape on the cheek rest for comfort. Especially if its an aluminum tank. The adhesive is weak I use a piece of carpet tape to stick to the buttstock
6) grip tape on trigger and on the rifle for hand placement. Under $10 on Amazon
7) Allen next shot pouch from Amazon zip tied to the buttstock to hold mags
8) mount optic and bore sight.
Feel free to ask any questions if I didn't mention anything.
