Severe accuracy problem

A rws/diana?... It be a long shot . Last one i had looked worse . I guess it can be q common sense hing with them (??).
Id try all the basic springer things like stock screws, clean the barrle a few times more / be sure its well cleaned to start with. Try different pellets out. Check piston seal for nicks or whayever that could sway fps too much, ect..

It's a cheap knock off of a Diana.
It's never shot good. I've tried cleaning the barrel, tightening and lock tight on all screws, checked all seals and springs.
Gun was turned by a reputable air gun shop when I bought it.
I've shot several other springers with no problems. I kinda gave up on it but thought I'd ask about this before I throw it out

Anyway if a .22 id try the different pellet thing for sure. But if like me my motto is i dont mind a pellet picky gun as long as it picks cphp's... Im not going out of my way to feed one fancy mail order pellets ..lol.
I do have one i almost gave up on but just kept plugging away with it just to make me mad once a day and out of the blue it got right... Now shoots as good as any .. no clue how or why just went from shotgunning to near tack driver one day. Been good ever since..

Looks better than some Dianas I've seen. Shouldn't be an accuracy concern.
I'd push a pellet through the bore, and see how it feels. Hopefully it has a choke of some sort at the muzzle, and if so hopefully it's not overly tight.
As for the barrel, I'd be most concerned with the crown, particularly on a Chinese gun.
I've worked on a couple of the XS25 rifles, and they both were pretty accurate after a little work.
I'd push a pellet through the bore, and see how it feels. Hopefully it has a choke of some sort at the muzzle, and if so hopefully it's not overly tight.
As for the barrel, I'd be most concerned with the crown, particularly on a Chinese gun.

If it was the crown, I’d say yes, but the lead shouldn’t be a problem, unless theres a burr that’s deforming the pellet when you load. You would probably feel that though.

Thanks for the responses. Yes, xs25. Cphp's are the worst of 8or 9 different brands and weights.

I tought if flying dragon gun he ( mike melneck ?) gave his lifetime gar run tee... Like thumper said as well some rws/dianas can be far worse / plumb sloppy.. i giess give a picturt of the crown end and see if somthing stands out ? Maybe take some steel wool and oil in the middle of 2 strings pull ot back and forth and polish the rifling to help remove and rough spots . Just dont use the steel wool dry, brass or copper is best but hard to find local here anymore.

A pellet slides through the barrel fairly evenly, the weight of the cleaning rod is almost enough to push it all the way until the last quarter inch of the barrel. Then it hangs up pretty good.
There is a ring where it gets tight, if you can see it in the pic.

No expert here but that crown could use a polish.. looks kinda unfinished/ rough..
You could make a crown lapping tool and some grit paste and hand lap it pretty and maybe run some girt paste/ polish through the barrle some especially at that last inch of choke at the muzzle end...
No guarantee but some thing to try out ..
For these hatsans leades that has a sharp edge around the hole i used a #2 pencil eraser i shaped to bevel out that sharpness. Then spun it between the palms of my hands and cut w nice smooth bevel .

Ive used it .. just do a little test run and check results.. in the barrel bore id maybe use somthing else. Like metal polish or bore paste. But that crown face that compound should do .
Like i said im no pro just do and use what i got here available local at my own risk kinda thing.. heck i stooped to using brasso to clean a barrel out .. ( dont get that stuff on wood finish or any plastic/ seals/ orings ... That stuff cuts and fumes carry)..lol.
Anyway the rifling job you kinda want minimal removable more to a polish job you cut too much your too loose and could do more harm ( tolerance).
Good thing you were going to trash can that gun so its going to give you good experience in what you do to ot helps and thats great or your in the same boat ..
Dont think i never said oops on somthing i did... Lol. Thing is it wouldn't happen again and i now know better next time..
Should be some info at gta also on them guys recrowning or fixing up a crown and barrel polishing.. maybe help add some more ideas to your job.. lot more springer info to look at there. ( Plenty of them " experts" as well)

I've done quite a bit of "home gunsmithing" on powder guns. Oops is pretty mild compared to what I've said
