Other Sharp airguns from the fifties to seventies

Hi, it would be great to see some Sharp airguns from the fifties to seventies.
Not the Ace's and Innova's, although you are welcome to post photos of those as well, but the older, rarer models.
Such as Victory Model 648, Champion and Deluxe.

They are rare guns and I hope that there are a few around in the USA.

Many thanks in advance, Louis

Ps. This would be my dream gun, the "sporter" version of the Sharp Champion, made between 1953 and 1962:

Although I've sent you at least some of these photos, I'll take this opportunity to torment other AGN members with them.

Sharp Model 648 Deluxe (MSP).

Sharp U-FP.jpg

Sharp U-FP (Co2) with (non-factory) shoulder stock.

Sharp Ace Target side lever (MSP).

Sharp Victory.jpg

Sharp Victory (MSP) with 4X20mm Sharp Scope.

UD2 Target scoped.JPG

.20 caliber Sharp UD-2 (dual-cartridge Co2).

Mini UD right.JPG

Sharp UD Mini (single-cartridge Co2).

As documented in my fourth book Airgun Chronicles- Thirty Years Of Airgun Testing and Competition, I tested all these (and hundreds of other airguns of all kinds) for velocity and accuracy. No, that book is no longer available; nor do I still own any of these Sharp airguns.😭

Wow, those are some nice Sharps.
I was fortunate to find this Innova Deluxe a few years ago. Had a pretty ugly finish on it, so I sanded it off, and left it natural with several coats of Maccari RLO Stock oil.
.22 cal. I'm impressed with the amount of power it has, for such an easy pumping effort.
Mine is shooting the JSB 13.4gr pellets at 482fps-3 pumps, 585-5 pumps, 667fps-7 pumps, and 704-8 pumps.
I usually plink with 4-5 pumps. I really like the push button breech opening, and push button cocking.
Have fun!

Hi
I’ve just seen this image and my Sharp has the same 2 button cocking system but it’s a side lever?
Hi, it sounds like you have a Pan-Target. If you can post a photo, or send one to me ([email protected]), then I can id the gun for you.

I published my book about Sharp airguns last summer by the way. (I did a second print recently, which is almost sold out).

Cheers, Louis

I had a .22 Ace in the UK about 1988. I think it’s in my brother’s attic over there. It never got chrono’d. It was regulated to 12ft pounds by a valve. Pump it to 6 pumps and shoot. If you pumped it to 7 pumps the relief valve made a loud squeak. I had someone in my Dad’s machine shop fit a moderator on it. It was quiet enough that if I missed the rabbit on the first shot I would often get chance for a follow up shot if i could pump it again unobserved. I wish I could get it over here, but it seems like it’s an inordinately difficult process to import airguns as a private citizen.
