Shelden Kidd compressor are available

I was just on Shelden Sporting goods website and it says he has received 10 more 2.4 Kidd compressors. The price will range btw. $1400-1800.00. The Kidd compressors are made for the military so it is likely they could last someone a lifetime. I have owned one for 3 years now. These compressors are very hard to find.

On his web site he gives you a link to buy the compressor he will convert on eBay the add for them on eBay says 3000 psi that were I got that from unless somehow his conversion ups it to 4500. I would recommend that that question be answered by seller before going ahead.

The best person to answer that question would be Shelden himself. There was a price range and this could be the reason.
I personally have the 2.4 Kidd and it fills my 88 AirHog tank from 3,000 to 4500 in about 35 min ( I'm at 5700 feet so it take a little longer). All the reviews on these compressors are excellent and I was nearly bringing it to AGN members' attention that he has some available. At one point, they were not available. It is a great value for a high grade compressor ( military quality) . I believe, many of the compressors in this price range may have a limited life span. Shelden has parts to service these machine.

If anyone is interested, I would contact Shelden to learn more about these compressors.

I agree if your interested contact Sheldon I recall reading positive reviews of his business elseware. I think if you get the compressor for PCP your cost would be on the low end of his range as I believe the filtering for breathing Air required for scuba is more costly.
