Shelf storage for air rifles?

You guys have some nice setups but I prefer to keep most of mine locked up. The examples I have seen are great A++++, but I'd have to have no windows and a strong steel door with a good lock system. Pictures and serial #'s will help with a insurance claim but I hope no one ever has to go thru that, I've been there in my younger years. I do leave a couple out in my office but wouldn't really miss them.
Aside from rifle safes, what sort of storage media do you use? I am considering buying or building wide “bookshelves” with just enough vertical clearance for hard and soft rifle cases. I’m close to almost 20 different air rifles in the basement (all in hard and soft cases) and need better organization. Thanks for your ideas and suggestions.
Get them out of the bags and case's and use scope caps

Mine is an underground vault with reinforced Dox plank ceiling and vault door. Secure enough? PBs in there as well.
