Sheridan C9A rear sight removal

Just put a Bug Buster on my C9A. Want to move or remove the rear iron sight. Not sure how to do so w/o leaving major scratches.

Drive the wedges out one at a time.
Use a piece of wood or plastic.
Easier to get them off then it is to put them back.

be sure to label the take off sight , i put three rear sights in a baggy and now i only know where one go's the other two im not sure of .

Good point. Intend on moving it forward to make room for hand between scope & rear sight so should not be a problem.

Right you are ! Finally got the second wedge back in after a bit of a struggle. Wonder how the original assembly was done.
