Not certain what to expect for velocity. Just ran three 11.42 grain H&N Field Target Trophy through the chronograph. Eight pumps gives 702.1, 702.1, 700.8 fps. Is this good? Seems really good to me.

I like shooting with four strokes, which a bit stronger than a .20 cal HW30. 8 strokes (max load) apx equal to my .20 cal HW97
At 30 yards I get one inch extra elevation with five pumps, so you have to pay attention to your stroke count to be pinpoint accurate.

That was supposed to be a five shot group with four strokes, but I accidentally sent number four with five strokes. So I sent the fifth shot with five just to see.
It was thirty yards, with a 24X scope, and provided good info.

That shoot was killing me. I was on the downhill leg of shoulder surgery, and trying to pump that rifle with a 24X scope mounted on it without disturbing zero, and in the middle of a heat wave. Lol
I survived, but it wasn't one of my favorites.
I was prepping for one of Micheal's AGN Challenges.

This thing must have had the steroid treatment. With 15 pumps it completely empties and sends a 11.43 grain H&N Field Target Trophy sailing at 827 fps.

I'm curious to know the accuracy of a steroid Sheridan. Seems like you would have to tame it a bit with a heavier load?

I quickly set the rear sight for 6 pumps. Using the 11.43 grain H&N Field Target Trophy with 6 pumps it’s getting approximately 675 fps. This is my first 10 shot group at 50 yards with it. I’m pleased. Probably the best these 69 year old eyes can get with the factory irons and a untouched trigger. Especially on this breezy afternoon. The gun is far more capable that I. All less than 2 1/2 inch. Most under 1 1/4 Inch.
