Sheridan Sheridan Shootin' on a Sunday

Always wanted a Sheridan Blue Streak. This weekend a friend gave me a 1972 new old stock Blue Streak out of the blue. I was very surprised to say the least. Looks brand new, no wear or use marks and the trigger is very crisp. With four pumps I was hitting cans at 55 yards using HN FTT .20's consistently.

I forgot my chronograph so I am not sure what kind of speed or fpe the rifle is producing. Hard to believe this is a fifty year old rifle.

I shot my blue streak yesterday at 20 yards against a Crossman 760 (recent model, smooth bore with BBs), Crossman 761XL (rifled with pellets), Daisy 99 and a Crossman 140. All guns had iron sights. I got a cloverleaf 3 shot group with the the blue streak (doubt I could repeat that) and blew out the groups from the other guns. Need a Benjamin 392 or 312 and a S&W 77A to add to the competion. Almost sold the buestreak but glad I kept it. Note that was not possible in the past but now can do it with the Lyman eye patch on my progressive lens.
