This is only active Silverstreak auction I’ve found.
Great buy even broke, actually dropped shipping $100. Blue streak live auction just ended ? Thing also rough and broke, confused?

Bought form original owner, who sold his entire gun collection, due to illness and passed 3 weeks ago actually. I’ve owned 6 months.
All I did was to verify proper operation and speeds. Did not polish anything, not to harm oe finish or wood. Nickel has slight oxidation, polish like glass I’m sure, I not doing that. l asked question about the serial number ? Prove to me that this is not the last Sheridan Sliverstreak built ?It also has interesting detail I haven’t seen. It has a flat black strip brushed across receiver and top of barrel is it factory applied ? I’m quite aware who players are here and want and Respect all you guys input.

I think the flat black (anti-glare) strip looks like something the old owner did. Good idea. I don’t pretend to know much about the old Sheridans but have never seen that before. I would doubt it’s a factory thing. Nice find. Good figure in the Walnut. Enjoy it.

Blue Streaks welcome,my focus is the rarity of the Silver. My guess they’re something to keep ?
Let’s see some pics of the ‘55. What’s it going to take to get you to part with ??? You also had couple great buys
Here's a place to study up on the Sheridan's, and figure out how to age them. One thing you'll notice is that they were all Silversteaks until 1952.

Here's a look at my 55 straight out of the box. It wouldn't pump up so I put a plunger from my Silverstreak project gun in it for trsting.

It looks like he painted it black with a Marksalot.

It looks like you got a 1975 model there.
Most of the finish is worn off leaving the brass exposed.
I have Bluestreak like that.

Never have figured out where some people come up with their shipping prices on Ebay either. One seller at $28-$30, another with same basic sized rifle says triple that??
Prices? From wandering, a bit all over but easy way at least on the Bay is do an advanced search for Sold Silver Streaks and you should be able to get a decent idea of what people have been willing to pay for them, which in some cases seems to be pretty crazy money.
Value? Random lame opinion is what's it's value to you?
Mine is a 1973 and after receiving and a 3 times over all of it, appears to have never been tinkered with. Took a chance on a Gunbroker auction, dropped in a max bid and left for work expecting an email saying I was outbid. Got the email, but it said I was the winning bid and for $170 and about $35 in shipping. Value I place on it? Not one I'll ever sell, should give you an idea of mine...lol.

I bought two. One from a pawn shop in North Carolina, and the other in Oklahoma City. Shipping was $8 on one and $15, on the other. They were both well packaged and quik.

I would like to thank moderators of this website Allowing me to create this thread👍👍👍. It’s your call on what I’m trying to say to AIRGUN NATION. Please trust me, I have all our best interest in mind. This is not a I thread about price of a Sheridan air rifle, it’s my values on owing one.
I’m thor$$$, I joined ebay in 1999, I’m thor$$$ on gunbroker, been member on gunbroker sense 2006.
Both accounts have been suspended for a strong difference of opinion on value and price.
I want to show how these prices you pay are being controlled. In a simple understandable way not to offend those parties. Let’s be clear, I want everyone to own an American icon. Plenty out there. I’ve started something here and have plenty to say.
The JBM Pic is me on banks of Mississippi 1975 after my fathers forth deployment to Vietnam. 180502 Silver was owned by Lou Cundiff, he trained the kids for the Jr. Olympics in the day. He is someone who loved the AirRifle sport. From Louisiana.
All I want to see in someone showing me a higher number? This is all original piece, not altered and piece of history, regardless.
20cal, Bear thanks for your input. Couple more things on eBay how prices then I’ll get to the Animal in the room.
