Simply put, how much do you love your scope? They are not meant to be shimmed, it torques the housing and the internals. Now, if your rail is removable then I'd say, have at it, jack that sucker all you want. Just my .02¢. Oh, not a fan of the FX No Limits, tolerances are less than ideal for my loose standards, I'd go with the Eagle Vison's they are beautiful.
