Not sure if you mean "long term" (time till trashed) or "short term" (time till rebuild) but I have an F8 that I bought used a year ago. Not sure how much time was on it when I got it but I used it for almost a full year before I did anything to it but lithium grease on the rods. I filled my 66cuft bottle up I would guess 2 or 3 times a month from about 3200 to 4500. I just now rebuilt it (replaced the o-rings) just to be safe. Took my time and I guess it was about an hour total."fsa46"What is the longevity of these Shoebox compressors ?

Figuring a fill cost me $8 plus $4.50 for gasoline I have "saved" about $400 in my first year of ownership, not counting the 2+ hrs per trip to get it filled. Drive there, waiting for fill and driving back home.
That's they type of info I was looking for..... How long they lasted before they were considered useless.

Well of all the things I have head on the forums I have only heard of ONE that "froze up" and it was rSterne ( I think) on GTA. He put lots and lots of hours on his and it was an original model. I'm pretty sure Tom Kayne even cut him a really good deal on a new one.

Honestly it's this kind of reply that starts bickering arguments."Beach-gunner"I purchased an Omega Super Charger about 3 weeks ago and I love it...freedom from the pump and fire Chief who is worried about liability of filling my tank. Anyway it took 3 hours to fill my tiger Shark tank from 0 psi to 4400psi. It takes about 5 minutes to fill my Vulcan from 160 BAR to 260 BAR and about 2 minutes for it to fill my Mrod from 1500 psi to 2500 psi. Also its all self contained and I can store in a cabinet when not in use.

OP asked about SHOEBOX COMPRESSOR LONGEVITY
What in the world does this reply have to do with the question?
"Thank You"
Good longevity. Keep it lubed even if it gets ugly inside from flung grease."fsa46"What is the longevity of these Shoebox compressors ?
