Haven’t seen any threads on this. So I thought I would share what I have come up with. I have a couple different fill setups that I use for my MAXX8 and F10. I have relief valves on the fill stations so it’s not an issue. But if I am filling direct to a rifle or even a Venturi type tank using a straight microbore hose, I have to use the screw valve on the ShoeBox. Not much of a problem with only 2900 fill pressures. But when filling to 4500 psi, it can be tough turning the ShoeBox valve with your fingers. So I drilled through the shaft and knob and added a cold roll pin. It gives a more leverage to hang on to and turn. Not sure why Tom doesn’t use a larger knob of some sort.
