Shooting a Sid AP20

Was lucky enough to sneak up on one in the grey stock with the Whiskey Tango scope, it is a .22. Have not got to spend much time with, shooting bench has been turned up side down for a while waiting on new wheels. Got it finished up Friday before I went and set up at a local gun show. Show ended at 3 on Sunday and was home and unloaded by 4:30. Really nice afternoon, So the Sig came down for the gun rack, Messed around getting it sighted in at 18 yards (One of my trap distances) shooting bag rested. Tried some Hatsan's I had close, they were ok. Pulled out a tin of Beeman Ram Jets I had. I pulled one shot my fault, but the other 4 were prefect (5 Shot group@18yrd) as far as I am concerned. Have not tried JSB's yet. I still have a grey label tin from when I was importing them (2003-04) also some of the newer rebadged JSB's to try. Sig's AP20 it a very cool rifle. This one showed is not my gun, it is a stock photo for those unfimialur with an AP20. Sadly not made anymore and was only made 4 years (IIRC) in the Sig plant in New Hampshire

I shot my .22 ASP20 next to my .20 Crow Magnum this weekend to see which one was better. The Crow Mag won by a bit but when I broke it down I couldn't help but say the ASP is the better gun. It may not look as nice but it still looks good, shoots great, is much easier to cock at basically equal power... and cost $400 new? The CM was like $1200 back in the 90s so with inflation applied would make it about $1800 more than the ASP. Sig really knocked it out of the park with that gun
