Shooting at Elevation...

HI,

I started a thread about my new Indy and I had a few questions in regards to elevation. Those questions might get lost in that thread, so I am starting a new one.

I read that people fill the Indy up to 220 bar, shoot 6 times, and then have to pump 18 times to bring it back to 220. I am at 6700 feet and it turns out that I have to pump roughly 42+ times after taking 6 shots! 18 and 42 is not the same! The pumping got on my nerves after 1 day of owning the gun. Anyhow, I am thinking about sending the gun back and getting something else.

The question I now have is, is my elevation going to have an influence on shot counts as well, or only on filling a gun?

I am thinking of either getting a FX Wildcat/Bobcat or a Cricket. Will my shot count be lower than compared to sea level, or will I only see effects of the high altitude when it comes to filling the gun. If so, what exactly does that mean? I get less fills per tank?

Thanks,

Kmd
