Shooting chrony display

Does anyone know what the colon between the numbers on a shooting chrony means? It pops up while I'm shooting sometimes then I have to turn the machine off and back on again because it doesn't read the shots after it comes on the screen.. the machine has a fresh battery so I know it isn't that..

I have the same company's Chrony but an older one. Had to dismantle it a couple times because the screen readout did weird things too. Found out that wires got pinched during factory assembly & were shorting out. Hasn't happened again since fixing it.
