Shooting Funk!

It's like baseball your hitting at a .333 average and all a sudden your not. What to do? Relax, have fun with it. Don't put pressure on yourself. You will work out of your slump. After all baseball like shooting is supposed to be fun.
When you're in a slump, you want to do your best to take it one at shot/bat at a time. You want to be sure you approach each shot/pitch with as much confidence as you can, as focused as you can, and as relaxed as you can. That gives you the best chance of getting a hit/accurate shot

Indeed.
Now my collection now and on vinyl in the old days did not have very much Funk, but for sure a musical style i appreciate.
Did you listen? It's not what people think of when you say Funk. It's jazz funk. Even Miles Davis recorded some. Instrumental. Not really like Disco or whatever. I'm not a musician or Donny Disco 🤷‍♂️

Oooo Miles Davis can get a bit too Advanced for me, but i am still working on the Jazz genre, do like big bands though and lots of Brass, the saxophone is a super cool instrument.
Many of the Jazz greats played here, also a few noticeable Danes like Legendary NHOP for instance
But yeah Funk i think if a mix of several genres, but when i think funk it is the disco era funk with the slap bass ASO

Also been working on Zydeco since i learned about it in the late 80ties, but i might not be southern enough, Cool stuff none the less.

Thanks for all the responses guys, I just need a break, take the emotions out of the equation and get back on track.

I know from past experiences shooting both CF and airgun it’s a process of elimination when groups or scores are not up to where I believe they should be. Right now I’m down to me (the human equation which is always a problem!), the gun/tune, and ammunition. All three can be very frustrating…

I think coming to terms that on any given day, we are not as good of a shot as the next day. (mostly the head game at full strength) Sometimes we can't miss.
I did about 18 years of striving to shoot every chance I got, then stopped hunting (grandkids take-over) got bored with the range, switched to handguns, where I know for a fact there are good days, bad days & awesome days. Covid took over, now back to airguns.

Circle of life & hobbies; don't sweat it, just go with the flow & enjoy what's on your mind that given day...
