I was shooting my Beeman 2027 .177 pistol at about 12 to 20 yards and made a mistake and loaded a Daisy wadcutter in tail first and hit the small target just fine, then I tried it on purpose and the results were the same. Anyone else have tried this either by accident or on purpose? Charles

Just make sure the gun is always the right way 'round if you start doing everything backwards.

Used to be the old trick for short range pesting. Makes a helluva expanding hollowpoint and limits penetration.

They do work great backwards at shorter ranges (even if they don't group quite as well). A .177 will toss a fruit rat ten feet or more if you hit it in the chest. No exit wounds either.

I’ve shot wadcutters backwards. Works to help them not punch through metal walls and roofing. This is of course limited to close range and low power.

When I was younger (alot younger), we would shoot the old tin soda cans with a bb/backwards pellet combo. I think we were using a 760 back then. The bb would start a hole and the pellet would plug it if you stood far enough back. Took all 10 pumps to do it.

Does a backwards pellet shot in a pcp with a moderator containing baffles pass through cleanly? Also, will a backwards pellet pass through a breach o ring ok?

CPHP's do really well at short range on chippers but I've never shot them backwards through a moderator.
