I got a new deck of Pinochle cards this weekend and had 8 that were not used - ads, blanks, rules, etc. and before I threw them away it dawned on me that I could use them as targets like Matt Dubber did in one of his videos: Top 3 cards were with my FXRoyale 400
Middle 2 with my Vulcan Tactic . 25
Bottom - left and middle - Wildcat .25 and right - Brocock Compatto .177.
I shot out of my garage at 25 yards. One of the hardest things is getting the edge of the cards straight. I made 3 adjustments while shooting but they still weren't perfect. Next time I'll use some old business cards that I have in my desk - shorter and narrower so I think they will be easier to set up. I hit each card at least 3 times andI had 4 or 5 misses during the shoot (usually on the first shot with a new rifle) but overall I was pretty happy. It was Fun! Next time I'll move it out to 30 yards which is the max in my back yard.
Let's see what you can do!
