Today was the first time I've been able to shoot in several months (new daddy). So I grabbed the Kalibrgun Cricket, a tin of JSB's, and some Eujin pellets that I've been wanting to try (Thanks Manny). I normally shoot the JSB's because they've been the most accurate, but I'm always on the prowl for an alternative. I've tried the H&N Grizzlies but they grouped like a shotgun. I've also tried a few different slugs, but quickly determined that this is not a slug gun. So I figured why not give the Eujiin's a try.

Now before you look at the results keep in mind that this is NOT a benchrest gun. It was designed as powerful hunter, and that is where it excels. Benchrest shooting with this bullpup is rather frustrating because it literally jumps and kicks all over the place. Meaning that I have to reseat and readjust the rests after every shot.
Most of the time I keep the Cricket on full power (81g pellets, 820 FPS, 120 FPE) for short to mid-range hog hunting (which is VERY effective), but for benchrest shooting I dialed it down to about 750 FPS. I setup some target at 50 yards and let a few fly. The top targets are average 5 shot groupings with the JSB's, respectable, but I've done better. The bottom targets are the best 5 shot grouping (if you want to call those groups) out of an entire tin of 77.8g Eujin 9mm pellets.

As you can see the JSB pellets still reign supreme. I was hoping that the Eujin's would provide a good alternative, but let face it... I'd have better luck with a rock.
