This may be the most difficult airgun to source in the world. It is the coveted Model B Sheridan. There were very few made. It was brought to market as a less expensive option than the original super grade model A. Both the A and the B were abandoned, as they were just too expensive to make.

The group was five shots at 16 yards offhand indoors. The trigger is a two stage dream.

most Sheridan super grades have Extremely Boring straight grain wood. This is crazy grain for any Sheridan, which is why I bought it. I had one years ago, and I sold it which I’ve always regretted.

while it may be the most expensive US factory rifle out there...it is actually free, you just have to be willing to let it go to someone else someday.

The B I sold previously is now worth 50% more than I sold it for. No this one is not for sale (at this time).

someday I will learn to orient my target pics.

Agree, most are straight grained like Matthews above. To find one with such nice figure is just an added bonus. What a gorgeous rifle.

With respect to American vintage pumpers, the A/B Model Sheridans are in a Class above the rest. It only takes handling one for a short time to realize it.

And they're not only good for punching paper, they'll also put dinner on the table. Took my Sporter out for a spin last season.
