SCOUTY
I JUST MEASURED MY standard .25 IMPACT with "fixed" shroud OVERALL IS 30" with shroud collapsed, IT HAS A 600MM BARREL. AND I haven't found the correct data for the Impact Compact anywhere yet, Fx does not have it on their site. I was checking Utah airguns early this morning. the data you are referring to is for a .22 impact with the shroud extended.( fixed shroud means you cannot remove it without tools but it will extend and retract. Overall length is with extended shroud. In the specs. Utah airguns gives they state .22 and .25 side shot magazines both have a capacity of 28 pellets. I bought a side shot magazine from them and it's 26 pellets in .25 not 28. I don't know where that error came from perhaps FX. They give 29" for the standard Mk II .25 Impact with 600mm. So 600mm - 500mm = 100mm (just under 4" ) and 29" - 4" is about 25". The distance from the face of the barrel breech to the most distant rubber tip of the butt pad on my Impact is 4" plus or minus a millimeter. Add 500mm (19.685 inches) = 23.685" then add to that what ever they have on they end of the barrel in the picture About 2" or less ( the barrel may screw into it). that makes 25.685" for the compact Impact I think that piece on the end of the barrel is a cuff to redirect the spent air pushing the pellet. Try it another way: 4" from the back of the barrel breech to the end of the butt pad plus the 600mm barrel (23.622") + 27.622" for a standard Impact. If you doubt all this measure it out yourself on a standard impact. You are casting doubt on Fredrik, Jon and myself. I waited a few days to respond. If you listen to Jon on the you tube video he states 300 cc bottle, 500mm barrel, high capacity side shot magazine, with the 300 cc bottle I think it weighs 6lbs or less.
