Shot a couple more slug groups this evening with my .25 edgun.

First of all, the slug groups had opened up considerably almost immediately after I posted my first set of groups. They were still very acceptable. About 3/4" at 50.

But today I decided to clean the barrel. Oh, my was it filthy! Patch after patch came out dirty! Even big silver flakes of lead came out. But eventually it looked squeaky clean.

These are 26 grain nsa slugs going at about 955 fps.

The distance to target is just under 60 yards. Winds were light and variable. Perhaps 5 miles an hour. Shooting off bipods laying in the grass. Groups would no doubt be a bit tighter from a good rest. But alas none was available.

Groups are 5 shots each.

The reason the first group is higher on the x is I used a different mil dot in my scope to hold for the groups. Also the poi was slightly further right after cleaning barrel.

These groups are definitely not as tight as the 34 grain pellets at distances up to about 80 yards. After 80 yards the pellets dont stand a chance!

About the only thing I dont like about this gun is the horrendous shot count. About 27 shots (3 clips) and it's time for a refill. But still very very happy with the gun in general!
