Should have never bought a SWFA scope

Jdingo my personal opinion is either the 12 or 16 will work fine . I've owned all of their fixes power scopes and the 16 is slightly darker but its still nice and clear , the 20 power is the only one I probably wouldn't buy again..... Scuba a LOT of guys like the FFP scopes because of references not changing with power . But I personally prefer the crosshair stay thin . But its just personal taste .

Thanks Joe, I was starting to second guess my choice because everyone was stating that the 12-10x. Was the way to go. If I really like it then I'll buy one for my Mutant as well but this will top my .25 Cricket for now.

I certainly understand the reason for FFP but I kinda with you Joe, I like a thin crosshair too.

Guess I'm hooked now as I ordered my 3rd Swfa scope yesterday. That's it though! Can't believe how much better I shoot with these scopes, must be the clarity. Well maybe one more when Black Friday rolls around. Sorry Hawke nothing against your scopes.

Cahill I honestly think its just that they stay put . you dial they move , you stop they don't move anymore ...Seems simple

I just got my first SWFA scope, a fixed 10x42 with their mil quad (half mil dot) reticle.

The crosshairs are very fine. Turrets don't lock but they're not going to turn by accident either. Optics and mechanics are excellent. Since the crosshairs are so fine, it's going to be easy to lose them against a dim or dark background. I wish they'd light the reticle; it's a fair request for a $300 fixed scope, when UTG can do it for under a hundred. Other than that, no complaints.

I also have an Athlon Argos, which I think is a better value. Equally good optics, zoom and a lit reticle for less than than the equivalent SWFA zoom scope. The higher end Hawkes are also good values.Good optics, etched, lit reticles. Heavy though.

I have a SWFA SS 16x42 and if anything the crosshairs could be thinner? I think like most scopes there is an assortment of crosshair set ups? But its a nice scope and since on all my scopes I leave them set at one power the 16x42 seems to work ok for me.

Thanks Joe and Tweeter. Mounted my swfa 3x15 mil quad tonight and keen to use it in the next couple of days. A mate also got a couple and we shared shipping to Australia. Worked out very well 
Never thought I would be able to get hold of these scopes. Thanks again.
