Hatsan Should I modify a new pcp air rifle and if so which one?

Yeah...isn't most everything...modifiable (is that a word ?) ?

My last modified rifle -
The barrel started of at 17" long (plus the shroud length). The barrel is now 8" long, along with the shortened shroud to match. That's a Huma Mod30 muffler on the end.
Note: the black piece of the stock right behind the receiver is now also, the tan color.
Still shoots well.

That’s beautiful what did you use to cut the barrel and round the end?

Hey Mike - is the one with the squared off shroud a PileDriver? I like the looks of the stock as well. Nice

You've still never stated your GOAL. Just WHAT is it you're trying to accomplish with your mods? Or is it just the act of modification that does it for you? PCP's are a whole different animal than springers & the High Pressure air can cause serious safety issues. I guess you've never owned one but your 1st thought is about modification. Why not find out what they're all about FIRST? You might not even want to change a thing! Never seen anyone with your type of approach. Modding a cheap springer is one thing but a seriously engineered & manufactured piece of equipment like a pcp can be easily f**ked up. Then you're talking hundreds, if not a thousand + $ down the tubes.

Haha yeah I suppose my goal is just to modify and learn basically have fun with but when it comes to pcp I want to find a good starter good to modify what do you think of the hatsan 777? I want to order that
Your approach kinda concerns me. FORGET the modifying b.s. & LEARN about the GUN you're shooting! Sorry, I just don't get you. I get the feeling of an accident waiting to happen. Your eagerness to do only what you want might not be healthy for you! When 4500psi explodes in your face it WON'T be a good day! So, in answer to your question, NO YOU SHOULDN'T MODIFY an airgun until you've LEARNED about them!!!

I totaly agree with Gerry 52, Why don't you learn to become a great shooter first? Show me.It Save your money for a known quality PCP and then go from there... ,go ahead and modify.
Check out the Pistol section,Crosman 2400. They kick booty; look much better than rifles, plus there are more after-market parts for them,"go ahead, make my day.":ROFLMAO:

I modify every airgun I own. It all depends on purpose of use. Sometimes it's just a spring swap and sometimes barely any factory parts are left. If I had the ability to build my own multi shot breech I would probably make all my guns but I typically start with a platform that has the parts I need to build what I need.

See but that takes all the thrill out of doing it yourself what will do watch a video of a perfect gun then repeat what somebody else did and say what? “Yay I did what someone else did” nahh that’s not me I want the risk I want the excitement I want the wisdom that comes from experience

I love this type of creativity if you had to turn an air rifle into the closest thing to a cannon what would you use?

Cut the end off a fire extinguisher. Weld on a steel tube the same dia about 4' long. Mount a blow off valve to a 4500psi bottle. Connect the two with a piece of hydrolic tube and load with a patched bowling ball.
