Op, the planets have aligned in your favor.Air Tanks - Great White tank + full armor, $500 (10/21 manufacture)
Great White 4500 psi tank with full armor package. Manufactured 10/21, so ~3-1/2 years left on the hydro & 13-1/2 years DOT service life left. Excellent condition, works exactly as it should. Went a little overboard accumulating tanks & decided to sell this one since it has the most service...www.airgunnation.com

I guess .. just to shoot a pellet... must be earning good prize cash at them shoots.. then who am i to yalk being i blew money on things just as well in my life.. plenty ...lol

It seems like a fair trade to me honestly. About 4x the refills for less than 4x the price when you compare em' equally.

If you think it's good thats all that matters .. like i said and how many lectures i got on my hobbies in other things . That pcp i just cant get a grip on . Lots of guns id like yo have then ehen it comes to the support and cost just to shoot it i lose interest fast , real fast. Now i got to wonder how your filling that large a cylinder to 4500. A real scuba compressor ? A young hung or tuxing aint cutting it .. poor little things tongue be slobbering and hanging out trying. Dive shopd won't fill past 3000 . One i know dont.

I never regret spending money on a good tank. And now that I have a great MCH6 compressor to fill it, I'm set.
All the dive shops by me would only fill to 3500 -3600psi. They did not want to put s "strain" on their compressors.
And I never bothered with firehouses as from everything I found out, most will not fill tanks due to liability concerns.
And all fills are at the whim and timing of other people. Now, I can fill when I want whenever I want.
get a good tank, then get a good compressor.

Ya, normal scuba yank may not have the psi bit you can fill it at a dive shop convenient like any walk in diver can his. Kinda you get all that but find you cant fully utilize it or so much hassle trying to.

UNLESS you have miens in filling a SCBA tank ( Be it self or commercial ) your going down a one way street with a dead end.

now,
not every fire station will/can do fills,
some do not have a compressor,
and some will be a richard about it and say no lol
takes a bit of legwork like i said,
and youll hear no more than yes,
but all it takes is 1 to say yes and youre golden
