When youre done shooting should you refill the tank? Empty it completely? Or just leave it as it is and refill it when you want to use it again? Does this change according on when you are going to shoot again? Thank you
If it’s a regulated rifle and your storing it for a period of time…. Store it just above the set reg pressure… if it’s a non regulated rifle 900-1000psi (60-70bar) is fine…
Best case on paper, is keep it filled to just above the setpoint for the regulator.
Worst case on paper, is to leave it empty, only because you may have trouble seating the exhaust valve when you refill.
In actual practice, it really doesn't make a damn. If it's gonna leak it's gonna leak, and it's usually from orings taking a set and becoming not-so-pliable anymore.
Never empty. Leave it as is, - or if it works put better for you, you can certainly top it off now and leave it stored ready to shoot. I do a mix of both.
