Show em - Single stroke/Pump Pneumatics, the more exotic the better!

The 853 are out of production. The 753 is the same with a plastic stock and better sight. They are 299 and I could not find one in stock. I prefer the wood stock and the 753 with wood are impossible to find.
Just went on the site , nothing about out of stock ? Eastern time zone so to late to call . These are used from the CMP program refurbished and sold by CMP

I could not find a 753s . But I really wanted the wood stock. So a vintage 853 was what I went for.

What killed these off? It seems to me like it'd be all accuracy of a PCP with all the convenience of a springer. (have an IZH 46M I absolutely adore)

60 shot competitions wear down the shooter compared to a PCP. It’s a sport where every advantage must be taken. That is never going to bother a basement/backyard plinker and that’s why values are up on SSPs.

When you think about how many shots per fill a 6 fpe PCP must get you can see why they're used in competition instead of SSP's.

just noticed ambi stock I could shoot that ., WOW , that's the way to do it .
The bolt is also ambidextrous. And this is the way I got it. I would like this bolt on all my pumpers but can’t find out where they came from. I think it’s part of the Mac1 Steriod procedure.

Dennis Quackenbush did a lot of work with modified Crosmans and left handed bolts, really nice stuff. It wouldn't surprise me if he was the source.

Here's something I designed and fabricated in '09 that was
originally posted on the old Yellow Forum. It's a single
stroke with a twist.......a displacer piston.

003.jpg

004.jpg

Briefly........
11.8 lb with scope
max stroke 11.2"
max force required 39 lb
power is varied by changing the stroke length
20 ft-lb in .177
24 ft-lb in .22

To load, the barrel slides forward.

The extended cheek piece allows the shooters leg to assist in pumping.

It's certainly a handful but fun to shoot.
