N/A Show me your low power setups!

I don't have a pic handy, but a Beeman R7 aka Weihrauch HW30 would be a good choice. My .177 shoots about 7fpe with a 7.9 gr. pellet. Nothing needed but the gun and pellets. I have a peep sight on mine because I shoot paper and plink with it, but you could put whatever optic on it makes you happy.

These guns are so easy to cock and shoot it keeps me smiling for as long as I want to pull the trigger.
I've got a HW30 only springer rated scopes should be used. Someone said you could put a Simmons 44mag 6x24 I tried and ruined my Simmons 44mag in one stroke of my HW30.

I humbly submit the afore mentioned BRK line either a .177-.22 Atomic or Ranger and a .22 Pathfinder as a higher powered big brother.
The only problem I am finding with the BRK engineering design is it's perpetual Siren calling to the dance. Or perhaps a more modern catchy verbiage; like FRITOS you can't just have one.

Where is the line for low power? I suspect that all of mine are low power.

These two are my current favorites, next to my HW30 of course.

1701 with walnut. Shoots 9.2 Supermags just under 490pfs and 7.33 domes 600fps
1720 in 60’s-70’s Elm, currently stock TP shooting the 9.2s 650ish if I remember.

Both sweet little shooters, but the Walther barrels are simply outstanding.

I was thinking sub 12fpe and limited my suggestion to that. I could be mistaken though. I just have that as a ceiling in my head when I think about low power.

In the UK, yes, but here in America where you can easily buy 30 FPE and up PCPs. Many think of lower power as anything under 20 FPE, now if the Brits are getting it done sub 12 FPE, imagine what can be done with 20 FPE.

Two of my PP700’s. Top is 25 cal and bottom usually has the 22 cal barrel, occasionally I’ll put in the 177.
25 cal is 20 FPE
22 cal is 14FPE

The 22 cal has over a hundred rodents taken

I detuned both of my Umarex Notos by just using a weaker spring.

The first Notos shoots CPHP (14.3 grains) in the 690-710 FPS range for about 50 shots.
The second Notos shoots CPHP in the 460-490 FPS range for about 100-110 shots.

I am sure that I could go even lower with an even weaker hammer spring.
