Sig Sauer Sig ASP Super Target … Need ideas

I bought this Sig several years ago and then it just sat unshot for a long time. I recently decided to spend a little time shooting it and seeing as though my eyes aren’t what they used to be, I wanted to put a Red dot on it. I have an extra Leupold Delta Point Pro with a 2.5 min dot that sits on the flat top of the faux slide perfectly. It is pretty thin metal and the barrel is tight to the bottom of it so I think drilling and tapping is out. It does have a slight over hang that you could clamp a mount to but as far as I can find no such animal exists. I got the bright idea that maybe 2 sided tape would work and it did… for about a day. So I’m appealing to you guys for some ideas. Thank you all in advance 😁

so, Steve would you care if it permanent
i would take a M-Lok mount smooth out and back side dimple with a 2mm drill and epoxy on in from of the rear sight
now that has a downside the sights are lost and would effect the resale value
you could do the same with a round bottom weaver mount like for a Ruger 10-22 or TC Encore and put it forward and you would need to clock it right
the mount shown i thick and if a thinner mount was found, i would have to look in my stuff, the sight could still be in play

That looks pretty good to me 👍 I actually decided to give the tape another shot. I degreased the surfaces with acetone which I’m not positive I did last time. We shall see. I’m not overly impressed with the power. Wad cutters tear really bad and diablos aren’t a lot better. I free hang the targets. Might cut better holes if I mounted them with a backing. Here’s 5 at 21 feet leaning against the door jam. I ain’t much of a pistol shooter 😁

I also used the 3M type tape on mine.
I'm not drilling holes in my gun. You have look closely, but you can see it.
Just take your time aligning the sight, straight edge of the "slide" to straight edge of the sight. The 3M tape that I used is VERY sticky. Once placed, it isn't moving. You can wiggle the sight a little, but it ends up going back to the original location where you placed it. Mines been in place for at least two+ years now.
