Sig Sauer Sig bottle wobble

My Sig Virtus .22 arrived today and the HPA bottle wobbles after it is completely hand tight leaving the pressure gauge between 4 and 5 o’clock, not 9 oclock per the pictures. It screwed In very easily and engaged correctly and came to a full stop where it bottomed out. There was no extra 1/4 turn to be had like the directions indicated. I’ve screwed it in and out a dozen times, attempting to catch the threads in another place and get it to rotate tight to no avail. It stops with the gauge between four and 5 o’clock every time, and freely wobbles more than a quarter inch vertically, and more than an eighth of an inch horizontally with just fingertip pressure. I’m new to the forums and airgunning so I’m not sure what my next step is. I bought it from airgun depot, and it came promptly in undamaged condition. Any suggestions? I have some late afternoon obligations, but I’ll be back. Thank you.

love my virtus,freaking love it!

easy fix. seems they all do that.
mine was like that too.

electrical tape wrapped around the area where the bottle goes into the polymer frame,
wrap-test fit-wrap-test fit-etc......

mine has no wobble anymore and has stayed that way for many months now.

and dont feel bad,
my guage is at about 4 o clock lol

but if it really really bothers you,
i believe the hood of the bottle can be losened and rotated so the guage will line up where you want it.

like i said......

tape fixes the wobble.

and to rotate the gauge....

degas the bottle,
remove the screws on the bonnet,
then youll be able to rotate the bonnet to set the gauge to any orientation you like.

mark the hood where the gauge needs to be before you take it apart so you only have to do it once lol
