I bought a bipod but the screws for the keymod rail installation are just a tad too short for me to lock it in. Anyone else have trouble installing a keymod rail to their gun and what did you do?

Hello, I had the same problem with my Virtus, the hand gaord is thicker then the metal ones so that is why the standard bolts for pods won't work. I went to the hardware store and got longer bolts and cut them down to fit. Hope this helps

I dont have a bolt cuttter. I’d imagine that the longer ones are way too long to just use? Too bad the bottom of the screw is set so yhe top bolt has to fit perfection or it wont screw in tight.
