Sig Sauer ASP20 at 75 yards.

Hey guys/gals,
just a couple of photos for the Sig SauerASP20 with AA 16gr. Pellets. Chairgun shows that I should have a drop of 8.79" at 75 yds. with a 40 yd zero. My measured 9". Pretty close. And the group is not bad either. Shots 1 & 2 were after gun had sat about 3 hours. Shots 3-10 were not too shabby. The one with the 3 shots in the bullseye were taken with a 9" holdover and only fired 3 then got too scared to do any more. The Lord is Good.

It is a UTG 3-9 set on 9. reticle is a little thicker than I like but had this scope laying around when I got the gun so it is what is on it now. May change a little later. When I did the holdover I saw the first one and was not sure about the second so went and looked and said I better try a third and lo and behold all 3 were in the bullseye.

BTW--Did you see the chrony 14 gr. tests I posted this morning? Seemed pretty good to me.

I did see them and yes they were excellent! I think your APS20 has the best velocity I've seen so far. I have some Crosman Premiers 14.3gr that I might test tomorrow. Depends on rain.

I would imagine that your scope would need to be set to the max for 75yrd accuracy.

WOW. Looks like you are getting used to it pretty fast. I did a 40 yd test today on a 1" swinging target that my son made for me. Just to see if Chairgun was correct. My 75 yd. info showed that it should be zeroed at 40. Shot 5 shots and hit the target all 5 times. Scattered but all hit it. I am very impressed with mine and you should be also. Thats some very good shooting even at 39 ft. Am going to try some accuracy with the 18 gr. AA as soon as the wind allows. Maybe 25 - 50 - and 75 just for grins. I am an avid hole puncher. I think I said that Hardie panel makes some great holes. I had some left from a project so just stuck my target on it. Now I am going to cut it up in smaller pieces. BTY- @ 75 it tears it up on the back. I am going to put something behind it just to see expansion after passing through the panel. Fun, Fun, Fun

I think my ASP20 just destroyed it's first scope. Bought some bags for bench shooting today. Shot distance 40ft. First up was the Crosman Premier 14.3gr. Shot #1...nearly a bullseye. Shot #2...just barely to the right of #1. Then look where shot #3 went . HIGH !! The accuracy consistancy was all down hill after that. Lucky to get 1" groups and POI all over the board. Scope mounts and rings.TIGHT. Stock fasteners TIGHT ! What else is left?
