Hi! I just bought a sig sauer co2 pellet gun. Has anyone tried to remove the rear sight to install a red dot sight? I see the original gun has a pin with c-clips on, but the pellet gun dont have the clips. Anyone tried to remove it?

No, removing the factory rear sight will not gain you a "proper" location for a dot sight.
BUT............these work well.
A few different styles / designs available.

I've got three different design mounts. Unfortunately, my Sig Sauer firearm is an older model without the lower rail. And I don't have a BB/pellet Sig. Most all (that I've seen) are tall enough for a Sig Sauer.
They are called "Bridge Mounts".
Just DO NOT...buy a plastic one. JUST aluminum.

Mmm, the photos that I've seen of the X-Five did have the Weaver / Picatinny on the bottom .

It has a picatinny on the bottom aswell, just think that replacing the rear sight will be less bulky

So yeah...right !
Again, removing the factory sight leave nothing for any dot sight to attach to. Simple as that.
Unless you want to mill a flat, and tap two screw holes yourself.

Did you see my sigguy link to the armory craft adapter plate? It screws in the hole for the elevation adjustment screw.
