Sighting in a new rig for Field Target

I just scored this sweet Mk4 from a fellow member here this week. I was working on my dope card as I wanted to see how this gun does this weekend at the Field Target Match at Tacoma Rifle and Revolver. Well, this target just happened to set himself up in the backyard practice lane! I ranged him at 22 yards and aimed straight on at the kill zone. The target fell over without any fanfare. No resetting on this target!!! Looks like I got my ranging and dope right!!! Hope I can shoot just as well tomorrow at the match.

Nice shot! ......BUT...... better figure out 10 yds,11,12 and so on until you're dead on, then the dope for shots past you're dead on zone.

And I'll add, it's much more fun done in real time than friggin' chairgun!

Oh yeah, Field Target is kinda like golf in that sense, you can win or lose with the short game!!! I got dope to 25yds, will do the 35-55 during sight in. I always shoot out the dope. Then I adjust the Chairgun numbers until the reticle aim points match the ones I shot.
