Sightron S-Tac 4-20x50 FFP, any pertinent experience?

I’m looking at upgrading my Hawke 4-16x50 Airmax to a Sightron S-Tac 4-20x50 FFP scope to use primarily for HFT With my TX200 HC. I suspect that the additional magnification along with a larger scope wheel will help in getting more accurate target distance measurements. Does anyone have any experience with this scope they can share? What kind of scope wheel has been used with this scope? Was the scope wheel fitted to accommodate the scope illumination knob?

I used one for a short while for HFT and concluded there were better scopes for the cost that range much better for my eyes using the parallax. Clear scope so could work for bracketing for rangeing.
@CJSimmons Can you elaborate on which scopes you found that were better in that price range? Like the OP, I’d been looking at one of these scopes but never pulled the trigger.

I am currently using a Trijicon Credo 4-16x50 on an TX200 and like it. It was a little more than the sightron but purchased for about half off from euro optic. Not sure if they are still offered on sale. It focuses down to 10 yards with no issues and I confirmed with Trijicon that it is springer rated. The ranging with parallax works well for me with separation on the wheel between the far distances. Great clarity and Japanese glass
