Iāve spent two weeks now going back and forth between my new S6 and the two older S3ās, I score KZās just as well with the older ones as the newer one @80% average.
But Iāve also shifted to 13.4 weight pellets and lost enough belly fat to get my elbows on my knees when shooting, soā¦ā¦
As far as ranging goes, the S6 is superior 10-35 yards with zero errors and unbelievable clarity.
The S3ās are not as bright but still very very good. Yet itās still a struggle 40 yards out.
Iāve relegated my five 4-20x50 S-Tacs to my 3 HFT pistols and two Crosman HFT Challenger training/ guest guns
S3ās -
One S3 is on my multi function multi caliber Ghost - use includes .22 caliber bench rest
One S3 is on my LP Redwolf for HFT
I also have a S3 PLR on my .25 Redwolf EFT rig
S6 -
For now The S6 is on my H.P. Redwolf for HFT but Iām still alternating between them because of forced lane issues. Depending on weight issues I may move the S6 to the Ghost. Dunno yet, as the S6 is heavier than the S3ās and when a gun weighs more than 12.5 lbs I canāt hit
in forced lanes.
I have a PRS Chassis / stock that I want to slip one of the Redwolfs into but that would make a 11 lb 12 oz gun 13 lb 12 oz
So thatās my update to date comparing the S3ās to the S6
Bottom Line? Lift my 16X mag limit and my S6 will sit perfectly on top of my favorite HFT rigā¦. Perhaps thatās actually a TM1000 pistoli
Quick update - the S6 ended up on my HP .177 Redwolf in PRS Chassis because, well, the combo is perfect for Bench Rest.
