Just thought I'd share my experience with Silent Thunder Ordinance (STO). I was in the process of ordering new moderators from DonnyFL and a few members recommended STO. I went ahead and placed an order for a STO Falx and Sarissa. Upon STO taking a few days to ship and about a week to receive the item, both the Falx and Sarissa were a bit scratched/scuffed on both POM cap ends (Sorry, no picture as I was too eager to test them) and the Sarissa itself. The Sarissa had scratches/knicks on the side and I was a bit disappointed, but it does not have any affect on the moderator performance wise. (At least from what STO's statement) I did send an email to STO and it took about 2 days for STO to respond. I appreciate STO's honesty, response, and willingness to replace the moderator. See below

Sorry about that, we always focus first on performance, then on cost if it does not affect performance and then on aesthetics so while we try to always improve the fit and finish where we can there are occasionally some minor issues. If you would like we can exchange the can for another which should be better it may still not be 100% perfect. I know it's a little bit of an odd stance and while we could throw out minor imperfections, add more external QC, add lots of pointless machining to the outside and so on as many of our competitors do it would add nothing to the performance while increasing the cost. Let us know if you would like to return it to have the can exchanged.

I've decided to just keep the Falx and Sarissa as I am impressed with their ability to muffle the bark to my air guns. I will continue to do business with them but I just wanted to share my experience! Overall experience, B+.
