Silent Thunder Ordnance

Update. After the 2nd communication I received a response. I guess there was a misunderstanding of my first message.
I received the email from
[email protected]

Great company once everything was cleared up

I ordered a Sarissa High Flow and changed my plans after it was sent. I felt comfortable because of the return policy. They have a no-reply email, and nothing in the email how to contact them. On the website they don’t list an email or phone number, just a website based message service. I did that on the day it was delivered and have not received a response, or an email confirming my message was sent. It’s been a complete week since I sent that. I will send another today.

Does anyone know a way of contacting them?

If I can’t get them it will be in classifieds at a later date haha. On a side note, the quality is fantastic.

Returns

Returns of new items must be made within 30 days, and items must be in new-in-packaging condition.
Returns made after 30 days are conditional and will be evaluated by occurrence.
If the item is unused and still in new-in-packaging condition the buyer may receive a full refund (no restocking fee) on production items. (This does not include shipping costs)

I put their Sarissa on my Evol .30 Paradigm and turned a backyard "unfriendly" rifle into a quiet monster. Very pleased with its quiet performance in a typical suburban backyard.

Trying to order the correct Sarissa moderator for the.30 Paradigm. My Donny .30 adapter is on its way.

I think “moderate” flow is what I need but not sure if it is High or Moderate. I know they give some guidance based on total FPE for the gun. Also, there are ‘two’ 1/2 UNF selections, and I am not 100% on which option.

Can you clarify with what you ordered and how much was the price?

There is no phone number to contact for customer service.

Thanks
Tom

I think the Sarissa is allegedly the ‘quietest’ between Falx and Sarissa. It is longer. Ugh..

However, for me it doesn’t really matter, as I will use this rifle for Benchrest and not hunting or in my backyard.

In fact, the AAA factory moderator is fine.

I don’t have a good reason to buy this. 😏
When has that ever stopped any of us ? haha

I have Sarissa's in moderate, High Flow, and big bore .357. I have yet to find an application in .22, .25, or .30 ranging from 30fpe-120fpe where the moderate flow performed as well as the High Flow.

I had a Falx in Moderate flow and if I had to do over, I would have ordered a high flow. Perhaps it is my style of tuning, etc, but if I order any more STO's I will only order high flow.

Yes get the high flow (y)

Thanks!

Tom I just saw this, and you have received the correct advice. High Flow. I bought the Sarissa from a member here on classified in anticipation of getting the Paradigm. The .30 is really not a "backyard friendly" caliber for reasons other than noise decibels. However, when I do shoot it in the backyard, The Sarissa is the way to go.
Thanks Phil.

Yep, if I was using in my backyard, the Sarissa would be my choice too. However, since it is going to be a bench gun only, I can stay with the moderator from AAA or get a FALX, high flow.

I use the Falx High Flow, on my .30 Delta Wolf and my .25 Impact Slugger. Lately I've been using the STO Pugio (the little one) on my .25 Panthera putting out 86 FPE, and it quiet it down more than I thought it would... Totally acceptable, and doesn't affect accuracy in the least...

I bought one of the new Alteros moderators and put it on my .25 Caiman X. Instant backyard friendly.

Did you get the short or long? I have a long version in .22, I really like it. So much that I ordered a short version in .25. Maybe the caliber specific pieces will be interchangeable, will find out once the .25 version arrives.

Not a good comparison to the Sarissa though, apples and oranges so to speak. The Sarissa dwarfs the Altaros....
