I have a Nomad 2 pump and have been using Crossman Silicone oil for lube at the recommended intervals. Is there a substitute brand of oil I can buy that comes in larger containers/amounts that might be more cost effective?

Team Associated silicone shock oil...2oz bottle for $6 - $7 on Amazon in pretty much any viscosity you want.
Or you can buy larger quantities sold as treadmill belt lubricant.

Oh I see the Superlube brand has 4oz bottles for about the same price. When I use up the current bottle of shock oil, I suppose I’ll be going with their product.

Ah man... now you all have me wondering if this is just ultra light mineral oil or polydimethylsiloxanic additives to ultra light mineral oil.

I have a nomad 2 and for the past 6 months been using Super Lube 56104 Silicone Oil 100 CST, Clear that I got from Amazon for about $6. I also found it handy to purchase the Gaunt Industries HYPO-65-Ceramic & Clay Underglaze Applicator-2 Ounce Clear Plastic 16 Gauge Blunt Needle tip-Slip Trailing Bottle (again from Amazon) as it made it much easier to apply the oil into the Nomad II without making a mess.
